Some of the dunes on the ocean side of the Outer Cape soar 100 feet above the beach. This area isn't quite so high, and a cut-through provides beach-goers with easy beach access from the trails behind. One of these guys could well be me hiking home from a lazy but invigorating day at my favorite Cape Cod beach.
